Her mother Thyme went into labor during breakfast. This mid-morning birth became a cherished tale, with fondness around the family hearth.
Education
Like many halflings in smaller villages, Tansy was taught by her mother and her extended family. If any formal education is needed their employers will supply it. Tansy excelled at her cook training and anything else that she was taught.

While still at home, she worked in the family's bake shop, then went traveling with her uncle Finnick Bramblebrook.
