A security guard is an undervalued and unappreciated position. They are tasked with protecting property, keeping everything secure, apprehending trespassers, reporting suspicious incidences and violates of the rules, and conducting regular, and random patrols of the buildings and perimeter.

This job usually progresses in three stages: security guards 1, 2, 3, and the supervisor. Guard 3 is a shift supervisor.
