Welnor the Wise
Welnor the Wise was a High Elven School of Evocation Wizard. He was most notable for being K'Niff's most loyal scientist, and was bestowed the Ring of Elemental Command: Earth in order to help K'niff's ally, Sangroke Bliss to tame the Elemental Plane of Earth for use in The Great Horde of Sangroke Bliss. Using the ring, the Elemental Plane of Earth was briefly brought under the command of Sangroke Bliss, but the defeat of the Horde at the hands of The Beacons quickly disrupted this command. Walnor was kept in statis by K'Niff as punishment.
Many years later, Welnor was rescued with the aid of Medusas who wished to use Welnor to escape the madness of Nidryshim. However, once K'Niff discovered this treachery, he transformed the Medusa into their snake-like form, and the Medusa immediately betrayed Welnor, transmuting him into pure stone.
