Valence's Chosen Frayed
Independant Frayed are a subcategorisation of The Frayed, a group of mortals sung into existence by Valence, the Usurper. They are loyal to their creator, and seek only to further his will. They were played into reality by the song of the great and terrible Bard Maestro Valence the Usurper, to serve as his eternal warrior slave. Valence's Chosen have been sculpted by the mind of a virtuoso, and have been made in the image of a god or goddess. They are stronger, faster and more beautiful than other Frayed, and also lacked any form of free will. That was until Valence was slain (or as some say, merely disappeared) and his grasp loosened. How long this took varied from Frayed to Frayed, time is but a pittance to one who is functionally immortal, but eventually, their free will was returned to them. Now, naive in the ways of the world, and unused to the flood of new sensations and feeling their haven’t been allowed to feel, the Frayed known as the Valence’s Chosen try to find their place in a word that fears them.
