The Tethering Tree

The Tethering Tree is a mystical tree, found in the Somnambula village of Sombre, the home realm of the Travesty of Dreams, Drelux. At the edge of the village stands a massive, ancient coral tree covered in glowing sigils. Villagers believe it connects Somnambula to the material world, and many tie objects to its branches—letters, keepsakes, or strands of hair—in the hope of finding their way back. However, the tree’s roots are blackened, as if something is slowly corrupting it.
