Fomorian

Fomorians are a species of False Giant, created by Zemer Epsh. The Formorian is charaterised by its hideous mutations, that often present themselves as bulbous growth, malformed limbs and external organs.
The reason for their frightful appearance can only be speculated on, but scholars have theorised that they represent how Zemer Epsh perceived herself after being subjected to The Eternal Immolation; hideous, wretched, and hateful. After the False Giants were unleashed onto Apa Axas, the Fomorians fled to The Underdark, favouring the dark and cramped locations for their fighting style, which favoured using their overbearing size at close range, as their malformed limbs prevented throwing of boulders, a staple of many other forms of Giant combat.
