Sun's Last
Sun's Last is a sprawling city on the slope of a large volcano. It spreads out somewhat haphazardly closer to the shoreline. Buildings are made out of red wood and dark stone, in the wealthy areas gold or brass trim is also common. Almost everything is made to accommodate the larger frames of minotaurs.
Demographics
The city is largely full of humans and minotaurs. Most of the humans are descended from the original pilgrims who followed Sumarr west others have moved there for monetary or religious reasons. There is also a small dwarven population, drawn by the promise of Sumarrian Steel.
Government
The actual governance of the city is left to the governor of the island. The governor of the home island is both the most prestigious position and the most difficult.
Industry & Trade
While a large number of the cities residents are in military or managerial positions there is a booming smith trade. The military contracts with forges to make sumarrian steel weapons and armor. Other forges have contracts with those outside of the empire, these are heavily taxed though inflating their price and discouraging selling to outsiders.
Geography
The large city is set into the side of a volcano and sprawling down to the shore. There are farms and woods dotted around the city. The wilderness of the Sumarrian Empire is actually very intact because they want to preserve the wild dragon population.
