Personal history
As God of Strength and Storms, Kord is prayed to in equal parts by soldiers and sailors alike. His distinction from his similarly aggressive contemporaries of Gruumsh and Bane is that Kord believes that Strength comes in forms beyond that of physical might. Many in Kords domain lack the brawn of even the lowliest thug; a child who stood up to bandits twice his size with no hope of winning, a mother who held on through difficult childbirth until she knew the baby was safe. These paragons of strength walk side by side with the mightiest of champions, all equal in the eyes of Kord.
