Personal history

An ancient god, more akin to a force of nature than a sentient being, Tharizdun is responsible for the creation of The Abyss . Whereas other gods sought to carve out domains that suited their own needs, Tharizdun seemed to be a maddened version of Moradin , ever creating but without rhyme or reason.   In the same way Moradin is considered a father to mortal races, Tharizdun could be considered the father of daemons. However, unlike the relationship of Moradin to his protegee, Tharizdun was shunned and expelled from the abyss as the first daemon lords came to power. Each seeking to carve the abyss into their own kingdoms, and domains, Tharizdun was forced out, eventually finding his way to Pandemonium .   Tharizdun continues to exist, exerting his insane influence on the labyrinthine corridors of Pandemonium . Worshiped only by the roving bands of Aether -addled bandits of Ozia he is known as Maximum Madness, sometimes shortened to "Max Mad", a state of being they hope to attain through acts of chaotic evil.
