Gardinest
At the distance of half a day's travel on horseback from Keylethia, lies the village of Gardinest.
It's a fairly old settlement, and the heart of the fish industry for the entire coast.
The Provost of the village was named by Lord Grogar Makta, and he is the brother of one of the several magistrates that routinely visit the region.
One of the Captains of the Imperial Legion has a house here, where his wife and children live.
The village sports a tavern an Inn , a blacksmith's shop.
The harbour receives fishing boats of all sizes with every tide, and the large square to the north holds the regional fish market for the entire region.
The main church has a priest that lives on the premises and is kept in good order by the contributions of the seafaring faithful.
A smaller church is on the outskirts of the village and is rather dilapidated. Even so, it seems somebody is trying to keep the place clean.
Three main shops grace the village with their wares:
1) The Bait and Tar
2)Gaston's Essentials
3)Zante's Shop
The rest of the population of the village consists mainly of artisans who work from home or on the docks, fishermen, and their families.
