Guilds and Factions

The 'United City' houses the headquarters of most major guilds on Tamerea, (excluding the 'Pleasure Guild', which is instead found in the 'City of Pleasure'.)

History

In the First Era there was a Human king that desired to claim all of Tamerea and beyond for humans. He set about expanding his territory, going to war with many other folk and human rebels from other kingdoms.
The war lasted many years, and there were terrible loses from all sides. The leaders of the various folk and human rebels realized that alone they could not defeat the king and his armies, but if they worked together, they stood a chance. The tide of the war shifted, and the king's armies were pushed back to his kingdom. During the final battle the king was killed and his kingdom conquered.
In the aftermath the many folk decided that there needed to be an alliance between themselves to prevent such atrocities from happening again, so 'The Council' was created. The major city of the kingdom was renamed 'The United City' became home to the the 'council'.
To this day many descendants of the original inhabitants resent that their kingdom was taken over and that non-humans move freely within it.

'The United Kingdom' is located near the edge of the Firadas Prairie.
