'The Sanctuary'

"We have to have an audience with the councilors! This is a serious matter! The Dwarves are trying to claim our ancestral lands as their own!" "Your lands?! My people have lived in that mountain for generations! It that mountain is our birth right, not some Orc's!" "My tribe has hunted and lived off that mountain since the beginning of time. Your lot has only started showing up within the past few years with those dumb goats in tow." "People, people please, lower your voices. We can have this all figured out peacefully. Now according to the schedule, I can arrange a meeting with you and your representatives three days from now to sort this out." "Three days! We need to see them now!" "Voices my dear. Your lucky I can get you in that soon, usually it takes much, much longer before they have an opening. I'd recommend you take it, and then spend the next few days exploring the city, while you wait for the meeting."   An argumentive Dwarf and Orc with a tired receptionist.

Purpose / Function

'The Sanctuary'' houses the meeting, and office spaces for The Unitied Council of Tamerea. It also houses office space for representatives of the various guilds.

Defenses

'The Sanctuary' is located in the center of 'The United City', and as a result benefits from all of the city's defenses. The building itself is also guarded by guards, and protected by various spells.

History

When the 'Rogue Human Kingdom' fell to the 'United Army' the main city was claimed by the victors to be used as a place were all folk could live in peace. The castle was heavily renovated so it could be used as a place were the councilorssas could discuss politics and create new laws.

Tourism

The great halls are open for individuals to come in and listen in on the discussions the councilors are having, so long as they remain quiet and respectful. If one wants an audience with either a councilor or a representative of one of the guilds, they will have to make an appointment.
