Kymaeskeg
Basic Information
Anatomy
Kymaeskeg are humaoid. They walk upright on two legs, have two arms and two wings. They have hands like humans. They are as tall as dragons and have thick bones to support their weight. They have tails but are short compared to their height.
Biological Traits
Kymaeskeg can come in a variety of different body shapes, largely dependent on the subspecies of dragon they were created from. Kymaeskeg from earth dragons tend to be taller and more muscular while those from air dragons are slightly shorter and more lean.
Kymaeskeg who are more feminine tend to be naturally shorter and thinner than their slightly more masculine counterparts.
Genetics and Reproduction
Kymaeskeg don't reproduce like other animals. They are instead born from the magical fusion of a dragon and rider.
Ecology and Habitats
Kymaeskeg can and will live anywhere, often choosing to live near the cities of dragon riders.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They will hunt large animals, killing with magic rather than their teeth and claws in most cases. They tend to prefer eating every day but may eat only every few weeks.

Facial characteristics
Their faces are very much dragon-like. Their eyes are more forward facing, their snouts are shorter and more rounded. They have smaller horns in comparison with their heads.

Kymaeskeg are the most intellegent species. They spend most of their time learning as much as they can fron the world around them.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They have all the sensory capabilities of dragons with excellent vision, hearing and smell. They can also sense the presence of other beings with their minds due to natural telepathic magic.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Kymaeskeg will name themselves. Some choose to create a double or combined name for themselves, made up of the dragon and human they were. Most choose to name themselves after a powerful word in Gaervar.
Gender Ideals
Kymaeskeg don't have genders. They may appear more feminine or masculine depending on the gender combination of the dragon and rider they were created from with the human holding more weight. For example, if a female rider had a male dragon, the kymaeskeg would be more feminine in appearence.

Common Etiquette Rules
Kymaeskeg expect to be treated with the utmost respect by all other species. When meeting a kymaeskeg, it is important to bow or otherwise show respect. Only rise once the kymaeskeg has given their permission.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
They believe they are superior to both humans and dragons. Most aren't arrogant about it but some hold it over the "lesser" species.
