Greyrock
Where deadmen go to die
Greyrock is one of the most infamous prisons in Drometh and perhaps the world. Offically build as a prison but acts more as a workcamp, Greyrock was built around the by Maldir Sovereignty to hold high ranking Yuan-Ti prisoners. This is one of the many reasons it was built on top of a mountain. Escape from Greyrock is nearly impossible and those who have managed to do so are widely regarded as very skilled and dangerous individuals.
Purpose / Function
Was built during the Yuan-Ti Agression to hold high ranking Yuan-Ti officals, assassins, or war leaders.Greyrock was essentailly designed to be a death sentence, you either leave in body bag or dont leave at all and your roting corpse sits in the deep halls for the rest of time. Being built during a war, Greyrock retains many of its wartime activities, most namely torture and cruel punishments. Some of the braver members of droven society have brought the necessarity and humanity of Greyrock into question, most do so only once. Even more concerning than what is being to done to the prisoners, is what is being made of them. The few who have escaped tell stories of hearing unhuman shrieking in the night and black wings across the sky. Of course whos to say that the trauma hasn't simply taken their mind.
History
Built during the early years of the Yuan-Ti Agression Greyrock was a prison specifically made to house the reptilian Yuan-Ti.
