Wild Fang

A medium sized clan that make their home near the Northern Reaches border with Tocuria, the Wild Fang have long been a clan with close ties to the Tocurian Dynasty. Generally not as warlike as many other clans, they have entered into trade deals with the city of Heartsport, and were instrumental in retaking the city for the country in 493. Recently, however, the chieftain, Ghordall the Loyal, was killed in single combat, a tradition long unused among the clan. Now, the tribe is ruled by a mysterious warforged, going by the name of Sunder. They took over in early 790 and since then, have stopped trading with the Tocurians, keeping the clan's resources for their own ends.

History

In the year 256, two tribes of orcs, the Blackteeth and the Hardheads, fought to a stalemate east of The Silver Peaks. Eventually, with both sides diminished and weary, their leaders came together, agreeing that they would unite under whichever of them could best the other in combat. However, while they fought, Logull the Trampler, the second in command of the Blackteeth betrayed them, killing both leaders and uniting the clans under their rule, bringing them together as the Wild Fang.

Religion

When they were originally founded, the Wild Fang were steadfast followers of the old orcish gods, Begtar and Sokdos, similar to the Bone Tusks. However, over time, as their connection with the Tocurian Dynasty were forged and grew stronger, they began loosening their ties with these warlike gods. Now, while many among the tribe still hold the two gods as supreme, they do not believe Krothys' influence to be wholly evil, seeing the other races as equals. Indeed, some among the clan are followers of the Tocurian god, Ishtar.
The chieftain, Sunder, however, has shown a devout passion in their following of the old orcish ways. Seeming to believe they are an orc, the warforged is pushing the clan back to their roots, cutting off ties with the so-called lesser races.
