Kallowa

The Kallowa Desert is a large, untamed area to the west of the Amerillian Empire entirely surrounded by the Uhl-Kante Planes.
The southern portion is more prominent marsh and jungles filled with unique creatures and lush lands for the cultivation of kava, various fruits and nuts, and some of the greatest pack animals.
It's ruled by House Dwerda
People can be moved around from location to location as the need is seen.

Demographics

All races can be found in The Kallowa Desert and proportionately it is more likely to see non-human beings in the major cities. It would not be strange to see an Aarakocra or Dragonborn here.

Government

Socialist government ruled by the family Dwerda, the region is broken down into 25 states each with a different ruler who reports to the Ali Dwerda, the lord, a long ruling Dragonborn.

Industry & Trade

Mining, herding, and herd feed are the primary industries of the northern area which is largely dominated by desert like conditions. The Southern area exports significant amounts of fruits, nuts, and fish that can often be distributed around the region.

History

The people of Kallowa have always been compassionate toward each other's opinions and thoughs which made them naturally socialist. This means that few people are hungry and there are no homeless, but each man is given what he needs to survive and be content. In a world full of danger and the desert this works well for the orgization.
