Eld
"Eld is a strange place, full of crazy dwarfs and the mineral they use to fight some eternal holy war with no end. There are dwarf cities full of mirth and mithral, but not Eld." - Elk, the Gnome Barbarian.The holy city of Eld is located on a solitary mountain deep in the Kallowa desert. It is renown for a stone called the Veins of Rhohammer , a brittle stone that is used exclusively for the worship of Rho and the battle against Dyltoth a subterranean undead creature that appears to be related to Drugar. The city is ruled by a Dwarf named Seer Dulvin Orebreaker the head of the Paladins of Rho. The city had once been controlled by dark forces for nearly 100 years but the Shone Baret listened to the pleas of Dulvin and his Paladins and together they worked to reclaim the mountain and the sacred ore from the devils who had set up their lair. This reclemation made Commander Schaffa of the Scorpion Shone Baret one of the most celebrated men of the city.

Industry & Trade
Mining is a major industrial cause, but in addition to that providing food for the people who travel is also important. Large caverns have been carved out for the growth of mushrooms and cultivation of creatures that don't mind living the majority of their lives beneath the ground.
Infrastructure
The majority of the city is built beneath the mountain where extensive caverns and mines have been carved out of walls. There is a large gate, temple, and barracks that stands outside the front gate.
Tourism
Nearly 5,000 devout travel to Eld a year bringing wealth in the form of tributes and supplies purchase. As a result the economy has also grown up around supporting this large influx of visitors.
