Freya
Utility
Freya flies the seedship Valkyrie, humanity's chance for hope on another body in space. She guides the ship, correcting any inaccuracies in her trajectory. More importantly, her job is to create life as she flies, and to terraform the moon Thea upon landing.
Gifted with thousands of embryos from across hundreds of species, she must clone life in ways that do not endanger their species, allowing for a diverse biosphere on Thea. However, with so many extra embryos aboard the Valkyrie as backups, she began to experiment with the "higher risk" sets, creating diverse life inspired by creatures from human mythos.
She is also tasked with the final steps of terraforming on Thea - the moon is quite suitable for human life in terms of climate and atmosphere, but isn't entirely habitable. She changed coastlines, protecting humanity from Thea's dramatic tides, and tore entire mountain ranges from the ground for them to hover above the sea.
Complexity
Freya is the most advanced AI to have ever been created. She is, in the simplest terms, a human in a computer, passing the Turing test with flying colors. Her programmers created her to learn and evolve throughout her creation process, and also long after, so that she may solve problems that humans simply cannot.
