Giles Fordling

Ser Giles Fordling is one of the most prominent political figures of Caraegwyn. He is the current High Chancellor and his is perhaps the most important seat at the Round Table. For the past decade Ser Giles has been the face of the Crown's homeland politics; official correspondence to nobility is signed by him and not the King, he visits bureaus and government officials instead of the King, he holds public speeches on festive occasions instead of the King, and he meets all envoys and messengers instead of the King. It is common opinion that the High Chancellor is a savvy and benevolent politician, and that his determination to his vocation is singular.
Ser Giles is a man of some 60 years. He is married to Serah Cordelia (formerly of House Stoneheart) and has four children.
