History
The desert people started as 15 tribes across the dessert but were united under the banner of the first king and the first an-imal. in order to hold power and prevent rebellion, they separated the king from the priesthood and granted the king divine heritage and placed him as the overseer of the temple. with, provisions that the temple was a self-regulating entity whose members the third king declared would be compeled to serve the military for 3 years with a maximum of a 2 year deferment.

Foreign Relations
Good trade relations with local neighbors. uninterest in concurring them due to the desert. local pride in way of life makes them unwill to be the conquerors. bad relations with the dragons to the north.
Agriculture & Industry
mostly grazing with some agriculture mostly grains and gourd vegetables dye plants and a type of hemp relative. glassblowing tile making and weaving are the major industries.
Trade & Transport
moved via caravan. trade is exotic food stuff as well as internal grain and textiles. export is tile small pieces of glass and clothes as well as raw dye plants.
Education
most people are taught by members of the household or caravan houeholds are large family groups usually made up of several related grandparents. tribal families may be educated by tutors religous education offered at the temple for any seers or mages who come. and there families if they live there. most people are functionally literate they can read small notices and news but most stories are oral.
Infrastructure
a series of cysters wells and qunets run by the tribes are the major infastructure. there are several northern forts as well as a few border outposts where trade groups wait for caravans to come. there is also the high temple and the palace.

Rucash- a type a glass coin is used for any distance transactions or large transactions though there is plenty of local bartering. different color coins denote value. one al-ruen is red and is the smallest amount equal in theory to a pound of flour. the al-req is blue and worth 20 al-ruen one al-mes is green and worth a hundred al-req or 2000 al-ruen and are mainly used to pay for large caravan goods..

Legislative Body
the king writes the laws but the tribal government sponsors and offers significant feedback but has no power to change in save for bribery. the local people elect a headman who serves both the village needs and to work with other towns and caravan headmen.
Judicial Body
small issues go before the town elder or the caravan leader larger issues go before the tribal leader issues between tribal leaders go to the king. major water issues are required to go before the king as are major foreign delelpments. biannual reports from every caravan group also go before the king.
