Geography

Limestone hills and bedrock covered by golden sand. four sets of hills run across the land sheltering hundreds of villages a handful of towns and two cities. three great underground rivers flow down from the mountains to the north. dozens of oasis dot the lands. To the south and east are rolling savannah while the west is a tropical forest. To the north lies the great mountains. the sandstone is a warm golden color and short scrub plants lines oasis edges in the shelter of the hills are several dry forests and planted arbors surround the towns making small lush areas dot the otherwise barren seeming landscape.

Fauna & Flora

Scrub brush plants are typical some dry forests of juniper and Cyprus, as well as two kinds of fruit-bearing trees a type of wild millet, grows near oasis. Wild goats and a type of midsize wild cat live in the hills as do several larger rodent-like species. ibex and wild orta cross the sands along with smaller rodents snakes and a type of small fox. great teethed buzzards circle the air above.

Natural Resources

Clay and limestone fill the hills wood from juniper and cyprus are used to build. grains and gourds are abundant in the fields as well as melons in the wet season. arbor grow olives and dates. herds of garth roam the hills while breeding orta sit at the edges of villages.
