The deserts edge gives way to the deep dunes and just beyond the mountains. But never cross the desert child. For the sha-suth (dragons) live in the mountains. But even if you're smart you can't escape them because the monsters are coming. there's never enough meat for them in the mountains. But we're not helpless our soldiers fight alongside warlocks. If there is magic to be found in anything it's in water. But, water is hard to find in the desert. But water freely give is power and so is life. A queen walks knowingly to a loveless king for the love of her kingdom. Her half-sister, a warlock, walks towards the great north for the love of her younger sister. Who runs, away for the love of the winds, and her people, to the aide of those captured by the great dragons. there is magic in water freely given for water is life. the caravans plod across the deserts slowly circling the great royal palace kept alive as traders of wealth cross the Outlands but the northern routes become less safe as the dragons come and if no one does something all the love in the world won't matter. Not if the dragons stop the seasonal rains in the mountains from bringing the water down.
