Old Elfriche

Old Elfriche, also called Far Faerie, is a metaphysical location from which the Fair Folk, and the magic of the Hud originated. It is described as a paradise, a land of plenty and peace, even greater than the wonders of Faerie.
Old Elfriche was nearly destroyed in The Tear, and many of its inhabitants found themselves in Alvez. It is surmised that Old Elfriche still exists, far beyond the endless stretches of Faewylde or the White Plain of Mag Mor. Some stories claim that it can be accessed via the Mag Mell or through the Black Castle of Rupes Nigra.
