Mor Kreizdouar
Geography
A massive inland sea marking the Southern Coast of the Western Realms, the largest of its kind known in Bedouar, connected only by a narrow strait and and the countless small channels that cut through the The Shattered Peninsula to the Mor Bras. Aside from these entry points in the West, the entirety of the Sea is landlocked.
The Northern Ar Mor is made up of the Shattered Peninsula, the County of Tolosa of the Western Realms, and the peninsulas of the The Golden Sea and the Arkadia. The coast of Outremer makes up the Eastern Coast, with the long, sandy beaches of Slaver's Coast taking up the majority of the Southern Ar Mor.
In addition to the coastlines, the region is dotted with islands of all sizes and large bays and river deltas.
Fauna & Flora
The stable marine ecosystem and general climate of the region allows for life to flourish, largely free from the direct influence of the Mor Bras. Larger lifeforms include Orce whales, bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, monk seals and swordfish.
The largely landlocked nature of the sea also prevents the spread of more magikal species, which are largely confined to the Shattered Peninsula and the Sea of Wine.
History
The White Sea has long hosted a wide array of civilizations in Bedouar, perhaps none more notable than Remus, which used its hegemony of this sea to dominate the region before turning its attention inland. With the exception of the Shattered Peninsula and the Sea of Wine, the sea is a remarkably stable part of Bedouar, avoiding the major bleed that overcame the Mor Bras.
A series of religious wars between the Western Realms and Iram of the Pillars over control of Outremer led to sizable conflicts on the sea and its coastlines, with Iram maintaining control of the South and the Western Realms of the North.
Tourism
The Grand Canal, a masterpiece of Kriores engineering, stretches from the Mor Bras at Port De La Lune to the Mor Kreizdouar at Narbonne.
