Personal history
Gadeon was born to Albian chieftain Conan Meriadoc in the last days of the Empire, accompanying his father to the Armorican Peninsula for the campaigns of Magnus Maximus, Emperor of the West. Gadeon served in his father's armies as Conan declared himself the first High King of Breizh and as regional governor of Conan's holdings on Albia.
Upon Conan's death, the High King's holdings were split between Gadeon, who was to control Conan's territories in Albia, and his half-brother Gradlon, born to a local Armorican woman, took over the continental holdings. The arrangement quickly collapsed as Gadeon launched a successful invasion of the Peninsula, sending Gradlon into exile. Gadeon crowned himself High King of Albia and Dumnonia, but his reign was short lived. Within a few years Gradlon returned, allied with Malgven, the powerful Witch-Queen of Fjallkonan, landing in what would become Kernev. Raising an army of Fjallkonaned, Kerneved and Korrigan, Gradlon marched North. The War of the Two Brothers had begun.
Gadeon found his throne threatened, the magical might of Gradlon's army overwhelming his human forces. Desperate, the King of Dumnonia forged alliances of his own, and the two kings met on the fields of Are. After a pitched battle, Gadeon knelt before Gradlon, passing on the mantle of High King.
After the war, Gadeon became one of his brother's strongest allies and supporters, defending Kernev and Dumnonia against Imperial remnants and hostile Eastern Tribes. He was killed at the Battle of Tours while fighting against the forces of the Erlking.
