Despite her love of sugary sweets, Anjela is in great physical condition, a result of an active lifestyle and alchemical tricks. Despite her prowess, she is not as flexible as the Eladan Kris, much to her chagrin.
Special abilities
Angela has created a magical compound that allows her goldensteel blade to glow white hot, objects struck by it bursting into flame. She has been successful in repeating the process with crossbow bolts, but has not managed to work out the process with a cheaper base material.

Anjela typically dresses in finery, a dark blue riding jacket over a tight light blue outfit accented with a light teal ascot and long grey boots. Anjela usually makes a statement whenever she appears, sporting the latest fashions from Port De La Lune or Per-Ys.

Personal history
As tensions in the Duchy of Letha arose following the death of Dug Yann III, House Monforz and House Frihep) began to collect allies for their push for the ducal throne. Watching the situation with concern, Anjela's father dispatched her to Kermaria to persuade her cousins of House Blackwater to join the Staunchist cause supported by her uncle King Philippe le Fortuné.
Anjela traveled to the mist-shrouded peninsula, making the acquaintance of both Paol Frihep and Salia Blackwater, the Milliget daughter of House Blackwater and a supporter of the Monforz claim. Angered at the arrogant Frihep's treatment of Salia and the Korrigan servants, Anjela stood up before the court and declared that she would be pledging her support to House Blackwater and Janed Monforz.

Anjela is highly educated by the best tutors in Neustria, skilled in dancing, rhetoric and diplomacy. She has a special talent for alchemy, leading her to experiment with potions, materials and, to the horror of her friends, food, where her impressive alchemical skills break down entirely. Anjela spends a lot of time in the kitchens of Tonquedec as a result, much to the chagrin of the cookstaff.

Anjela is a member of the highest tier of Nuestrian nobility, bordering on royalty, but has little patience with the "wasteful" pursuits of noble fancy, refusing duels or other challenges to her "honor", instead placing confidence and superiority behind her every action. Her adept maneuvering and well know policy has allowed her to escape scandals that might otherwise threaten her influence, giving her a reputation of being above the petty squabbles of the Court.
Anjela respects loyalty, taking great risks for her friends and expecting the same in return, making her an effective leader, but also placing her in the centre of dangerous situations one in her position would normally avoid. Anjela believes that all deserve a level of respect, regardless of their station. While not a systemic champion of the poor, she is usually well-regarded on an individual level for her frankness and kindness.

She is especially fond of Far, a flan-like desert made in Dreger. (Her friends joke that she joined with House Blackwater less over ideals and more over desert)
