Solibus

Land of the Three Kings

The Solibus are a human race who inhabit the western grasslands and desert of Kvenland, in a land called Nekta. They live in a harsh land, which has made them a harsh people. Most of their cities are situated along the coast, yet some can be found closer to the desert and within the mountains. Due to the desert and mountains, the Solibus developed with little interaction with the surrounding races, similarly to the Shāito. Becuase of this, they are viewed as having alien cultures.

Basic Information

Anatomy

They are anthropomorphic, with two arms, two legs and an endoskeleton. They have very faint hair covering their body, with much more on their heads.

Biological Traits

Males are often larger and stronger than females; however, females are more flexible and have stronger immune systems since they bear children.

Genetics and Reproduction

They reproduce as most mammals do, with a 9 month gestation period.

Growth Rate & Stages

They reach adolescence within twelve to fourteen years and adulthood within eighteen to twenty.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They are omnivores and require a balanced diet of meat and plants.

They have human features, with prominent noses and chins, and with broad cheekbones.

Their senses are on par with most mortal races.

Naming Traditions

First names are generally derived off of parent names and follow the phonetics of their language Solatka. However, last names are based on titles and rankings, the poorest usually only have first names.

History

When the human races diverged, the Solibus travelled to the westernmost reaches of southern Kvenland. Due to the warmth of their new land and their golden skin tone, they called themselves people of the sun. The land was named after their leader, the one who guided them to their new home. The three sons of Nekta eventually also split creating the three dominant civilizations that now inhabit the region.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Despite being very different from most of the other human races, they are always eager to learn from them; similarly, they constantly seek knowledge from other races.
