The Diary of Chasryne Hun'iryn
The Great Adamantine Lady Chasryne Hun'iryn lived a long life and died of old age, in ripe age of 766 years old. She had seen The Turbulence and witnessed the lockdown of the capital city Zilvraena Noqu'yl. She left a great legacy in arcane research, but there had always been one part missing: her personal diary. Until, one day, it was suddenly found by her grandchildren Charadia´stra Hun'iryn and Yaz'zyrral Hun'iryn on accident.
Purpose
Chasryne kept a personal diary from a very small girl until the day she died. She kept it with her everywhere as it also acted as her spellbook. She presumably recorded her thoughts and actions of the day, her plans and dreams, perhaps lists of enemies and such into it. But most importantly, it was her research journal; she was regarded as the greatest wizard of the city in her prime (which lasted until she died, truly) and who knows what kind of knowledge the book really holds; she never let anyone else read it, mostly because she regarded her non-wizard offspring be too simple to understand the (arcane) marvels of her journal.

Background
Even when the journal is private, it is the journal of probably the strongest spellcaster of Zilvraena Noqu'yl who ruled, more or less, in the shadows of the city. She could have become the matriarch, but was more interested on her arcane studies and research. Now that the journal has been found after years of being lost, all the knowledge is at last in the fingertips of those who could benefit from it; yet, the arcane lock warding the book needs to be opened. Who knows what kind of arcane knowledge the book will hold; it might revolutionize the arcane research in Zilvraena Noqu'yl...
