Personal history

Liora was born in the Night Cistern beneath the city known as The Madhouse on the plane of Pandemonium. Her father was a Night Crusader who served the church loyally, and her mother was unknown to her. Her father was a harsh man who took very little part in raising Liora as she was bunched together with the other apprentices. It was mostly Thane who cared for her and raised her, as he became like an older brother who would often put himself at blame whenever she messed up or got in trouble, taking the physical punishment that came with it. Her father grew more powerful among the Crusaders when he became the lover of the leader of their sect, Mistress Sybille. As Liora grew, she discovered that she had the ability to feel the emotions of those around her. This was the first time she was truly acknowledged by the Church of Night, as she "finally" had value among them. This talent became something the church began focusing on, but within the same year she discovered her ability, the Night Cistern was invaded by Illidan Windsor, Oliver Reyes and Yaxora Tayker. They killed everyone in the church, except for the apprentices, her father as well, though not that his demise was something that bothered Liora much. They were taken off the plane and to the Venthirs of Durveina at Fylhalon where they were taken in as younglings. Liora was trained there and cared for by the other venthirs and made the youngling of Renntell Feredir, but also grew close to Corwyn, Oliver Reyes and Lyssandra Blackbriar who shared some of her abilities. She was eventually made as ready as possible for the Rebirth serum to make her a venthir, a procedure which was often unforgiving towards girls, but she miraculously survived and became a venthir with the ability to heal others.
