She spent many of her years training to take over from her father Hunter Lockhart I, during her childhood she became best friends with another young girl, Ophelia Whitehall. In her childhood, she grew feelings for her, but as she had no other friends she thought it was only friendship, but as she grew older she knew it was something more. In the year A4 620 Araminta gave away her position as crown heir to Lawrence Lockhart her little brother and asked her father for his blessing to marry Ophelia who had the same feelings for her, he agreed and a royal marriage was held for the two of them in Evlora. After they left for Revendell to follow Araminta's childhood dream of opening an orphanage. Her father was angry at first, but accepted her decision and sent her on her way with gold to build her dream.
