P.U.L.S.E Weaponry

(Legacy Content)
P.U.L.S.E-based weaponry systems are rather complex when compared to gunpowder based weapons, considering the unique properties of the associated P.U.L.S.E Liquid. Most, if not all, rapid-fire or automatic P.U.L.S.E weapons feature several firing chambers that rotate around a firing pin. These chambers are filled with P.U.L.S.E Liquid, supplied from miniaturized P.U.L.S.E Liquid tanks that act in the same manner as ammunition magazines. When a new chamber is aligned with the firing pin, the pin is pushed into the chamber, activating the P.U.L.S.E Liquid, which is then projected down the barrel, spun by magnetic rifling into the desired shape and form, and finally ejected through the weapon's muzzle. Weapon's that operate on semi-automatic, burst, or single shot arrangements do not have rotating chambers, instead possessing a single or multiple tanks that are activated simultaneously through the above method.   Additionally, all P.U.L.S.E weapons are naturally far more devastating than traditional projectile, warhead, or guided weapon systems due to their inherent force-based properties, nearly five times more effective. Due to the velocity that P.U.L.S.E weapon projectiles fire at, traditional missiles, warheads, and guided munitions have been deemed obsolete due to the relative ease at which such projectiles can be shot down.   All P.U.L.S.E weapons are effected in some way by P.U.L.S.E Energy Shielding, be they reduced in effectiveness or negated entirely.

Author's Notes

As with every writing endeavor, I would deeply appreciate constructive feedback, be it in the form of grammar corrections, naming ideas (which I have the most trouble with), or general questions or feedback about the world or anything within it. I thank you for your dedication of time to reading this article.
