Steel Stockade

Perhaps one of the greatest feats ever to be attempted. It took the combined resources and power of an entire continent with several great empires as well as the resources from several other great cities. The Steel Stockade is a gigantic wall that cuts off a large portion of the continent and is always covered with guards. Primarily designed and supervised by dwarves and magic users from all over the world. The wall is the most fortified, both magically and physically, place in the world. In the event of damage to the wall, the wall can actually mend itself together given time and supplies. Also during massive attacks there are various golems built into the wall and stationed throughout the wall that can be deployed to assist in the walls defense. Most magic aimed at the wall have no effect due to the wards and other layers of defensive magic built into it.
The construction and Manning of the wall is such a feat that a nearby city was established and solely dedicated to the wall. Now and days the wall is primarily manned by Warforged, Soul Stitched, Dwarves and Half-Orcs.
