Lyros

One of the Great Elven cities of Old. The elves of this city adored puzzles, games and their complicated creations. It is said that they crafted puzzles so crafty and complex that many of those recovered are still unsolved.

Defences

The city is surrounded by a maze of walls. The opening that leads into the city is blocked by a gate that used to be manned by elven guards.

History

Founded by a group of elves enamored with the teachings of Korystine. Lyros became the center of knowledge during the First Age. The elves of Lyros learned how to make constructs that are part mechanical and part magic as well as various puzzles and contraptions to test and enhance their intelligence.
