Paragon Senate

The Paragon Senate was a large Democratic nationstate. Small fiefdoms of elected lords and ladies served in court to make laws and dispence justice. Each with their own small army. The King was Chosen by the Courts through vote, diplomacy, intrigue, and often murder. Until Bjornschmit Krag-mane was elected. The Krag-mane line kept the peace by building The Kings Forge. Once built on Krag-mane estates the Courts had little choice but to elect members of the family line.

The Paragon Senate survived The Gate Wars. All but a handful of courts falling to the rise of the Necroking. But the Paragon Senate were the only front line in the Giant Wars. Some devastating cataclysm wiped all but two of the of the Senates Courts off the map. Creating the Jotemmyr marshlands and destroying all of the Undead Invaders from the Eastern Central Pass.

This led to a mass exedus from the surviving Paragon Courts. Some moved Northward to build Dranesker and South to form Yotenburg.
