Session 13 Recap

General Summary

Our session beings on the back of battle against the Werecreatures.
A quick round of healing gets the party healthy, and the decision to explore the smugglers tunnel, with the contraband that Hush didnt want going through the tunnel.
After a short walk the tunnel split into 4 paths, each of which had some marking above it. Those familiar with the Underworld elements of society recognized these symbols as a form of Thieves Cant.
One path was denoted as either a "Dead End" or "Youll end up Dead", so that was avoided.
Taking one of the paths they found themselves journying deeper underground before stumbling into, and triggering a pit track. Luckily J'Zargo had the reflexes needed to avoid a problematic end at the bottom of a pit, and El'Rin had the skills to disable the trap making it safe to pass.
Unfortunately this path led deep enough to the point it became entirely submerged, not willing to risk drowning, the party turned back.
The next path led them back into the city, exciting via a warehouse that was occupied by a pair of individuals. An awkward exchange took place, attempts at threats where made by party members, but ultimately they walked out of the building and into the city proper.

There will be no consequences to smuggling goods into town that where to be prevented from smuggling into town by murdering the previous smugglers...

The party rested for the evening, The day started with some shopping, and Sal Maclennane received a Mysterious note.

Looking for work the party returned to the Pathfinders guild and were presented with a Quest Board

The party, after some discussion, decided to opt for tackling the High Risk quest first, preparing and planning to hunt down a Manticore. With a two week journey ahead of them, the set fourth along the main road.

Mid way through their journey they stopped at The Oak N'Hill, a place undergoing some turmoil due to its owner having been kidnapped. A group of adventurers who had paid for the Armoured Horse DLC had already arrived and taken the quest to resolve that, so the party continued.

Heading through the small river village of Tanore, the party decided to take the winding road through the woods that lead to Bastion, an old, still occupied fort on the edge of The Shadowlands.

Within this forest the party where ambushed by a group of chokers. Whilst the creatures weren't tough, their ability to grapple, and use grappled targets proved to be both a nuisance and a major pain, especially for Lucian who suffered a critical hit from J'Zargo thanks to the Chokers dastardly ability.

Ultimately the battle was won, and the party continued their journey through the dark woods...
