Dragons

Said to be the first race created by the greatest of the Gods, the Dragons are fittingly mighty creatures.
Dragon's, like many other creatures in the world, have a number of distinct sub-species that can roughly be categorized by the predominant colours of their hides and sorted into two loose groups, the Chromatic and Metallic dragons, of which, each branch has a number of individual sub-species.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Each of the sub-species of Dragon share the common physiology of a long, serpentine neck and tail, with 4 legs and two wings.

Growth Rate & Stages

A dragon continues to grown in scale as it ages, there are several key stages of development as it grows:

• Wyrmling (5 years or less) Young (6-100 years) Adult (101-800 years) Ancient (801 years or more)

Dietary Needs and Habits

All dragons are omniverous but most prefer to eat meat when they can. The type of meat they favour will depend on the sub-species of dragon.
