Trudy and Clanky depart

Trudy and Clanky depart the group and travel to Scrapwell.

Frustrated with what she percieved as the others in the group not listening to her, Trudy woke up in the night, determined to leave. Saint Kristoff appeared to her, and agreed to take her back, explaining that her job was done, and that she could return to Scrapwell if she wished, and that she should do all she can to help Saint Maggie once she returns. Trudy was concerned about leaving her friend Clanky behind, but Saint Kristoff explained this was not an issue, and he used his magic to free Clanky from being bound to The Spire. Clanky was elated to be going on a new adventure with his friend, and Saint Kristoff opened a portal, sending the pair to Scrapwell.   The group awakened and found that Trudy and Clanky were gone, and a large chest of gold and a letter left in their place. The letter was from Saint Kristoff, explaining that he needed the pair for a different assignment, and that the chest was filled with gold, a reward for their efforts so far.   The group headed north, stopping at the Ironspine Homestead, which had seen an influx of new halflings. Divram explained that he was forming a village, and had invited other halfling families to settle here and work the land with him. The group noted that several new homesteads were being built, as well as walls. Divram provided them a safe place to rest, but could not give them any magical support for their problem of how to traverse the flooded level of The Spire. He advised them to return to Thistlefort and seek out Illiana Mooncape, the head of a wizarding order known as The Violet Fire Order. The group elected to rest here for another night.
