Mooncrest

Mooncrest is a village in The Green Dragon Forest, about six miles east of the village of Lakewood. The village is primarily composed of Moon Elves, though other races are welcome to live among them with approval of the village elders. In the center of the village is The Stone Circle, and the elves consider it their duty to protect the circle from evil magi.
The villagers are protective of the forest as well, they have an agreement with the villagers of Lakewood that the forest between their two villages is to remain untouched. The inhabitants of Mooncrest live in treehouses and most have an affinity with nature.
History
The land that Mooncrest sits on was the where the Moon Elves of Yudath originally arrived. While most of the elves who landed preferred to explore the new world, a small group stayed behind and founded Mooncrest.
