Aendari
Aendari is one of six elven factions of the Elven Alliance. It lies in the center of Durarin and holds control over the Pale Tree, home of The Mother. The elven population of Aendari are mostly Woodelves.
Geography
River Celusundi defines the southern border of the faction's territory. To the east, Aendari borders the drow house [WIP]. River Celusyria divides the elven faction and the Drow. The northern border isn't very well defined, which led to some minor conflicts with Lonthrad in the past. The territory of the faction measures about 40000 square miles and is, therefore, the smallest of all elven factions. Its capital is the Iscalda, the city on the feet of the Pale Tree.Climate
Aendari is located in the temperate climate zone. Temperatures reach from 4°C in winters to 28°C in summers. Similar to all other elven factions, the weather in Aendari is influenced by magic. It has rather high precipitation, allowing large forests to grow. Especially locations close to the Pale Tree are overgrown with thick natural giant forests. Only on the coast, structured cities can be found.Vegetation
The flora and fauna in Aendari are very rich and diverse. Especially wild animals living in the woods reach outstanding numbers. On the other hand, grazing animals and domesticated farm animals are rather rare. Compared to the other elven factions, the vegetation of Aendari is very diverse and almost untouched by industrialization and civilization.Politics
Aendari is reigned by 3 aristocratic families. Each family claims a seat in the Elven Alliance. Instead of assigning different tasks to different families, the aristocrats just take over governmental tasks and decide on laws and who to put up to solve specialized tasks. The right to rule over Aendari is inherited and can not leave the noble bloodline. In case of extinction of a noble family, the name is removed from the government and is not replaced. Diplomacy within the Elven Alliance
The typical flag of Aendari. Originally the white large tree on a green background was the symbol for the Pale Tree. Since this tree is the most important thing within the borders of the faction, they use the flag as their own.
