Nulu

Nulu is the primary language spoken on the planet Nu. The language goes back thousands of years, to long before the Locathahs and Grung started The Endless War Over Nothing, and to the point of being one of the oldest languages in the system.

Two Nulu

Nulu is a language that has two ways of being spoken. One is a simplified, quieter tone that doesn't require any air expulsion, often called Water Speak. The other is a more traditional, formal tone that is much more vivid and dynamic, often called Air Speak.

Modern Nulu

In the modern day, Nulu is spoken by nearly all Locathahs and many Grung. Grung commonly speak their own language, Grung, which is based off of a dialect of Water Speak, but is not mutually intelligible. Other natives of the Nu oceans often learn the language as well, as it is very important for trade and intercultural communication, though some communities have their own sea languages.
