Sed

Cold

Sed is a Cantrip that is considered the antithesis of the Izi, in that it creates a flash of cold rather than heat. Casting Sed creates a small flash that brings the surrounding air to freezing temperature. Like Izi this cantrip last only a second or two and will freeze an area of air around a foot in diameter. It is primarily used for cooling the interior small vessels used to keep their contents cool for short periods, or freezing liquids quickly. Casting this on a person can cause minor damage if the form of ice burns or frostbite. This rarely causes any permanent damage.
