Larsam

Dwellers of Larsnu

The Larsam were early Human believed to have dwelt on the mythical Larsnu Plains, who worshipped the suns and stars. They dwelt in the plains until the Gilgurth impact, after which survivors fled north and east into the mountains of what is known today as Slavyum. Cave paintings, believed to be created by the Larsam, depict Gilgurth as a star that fell from the sky to cleanse the world of evil. The Larsam seemed to believe they were the only humans to survive Gilgurth. To them other humans were actually creatures of darkness, sinful and evil by nature.

The Larsam culture faded from records after Gilgurth, though it lived on through the two major surviving tribes. The Espin survived by fleeing east into what is known today the Espin Peninsula. The Shurapak, on the other hand, fled north from the plains into the mountains east of the Plashin Range. These stone carvings can still be found in the lands around the Shura Waters in the modern day.
