What makes The Veiled Hand even more unsettling is his facelessness—no one has ever seen his true face, which he hides behind a smiling mask. Even more disturbing are reports that his voice, when he speaks, shifts unnaturally, as though it is not coming from a single person, but several voices intertwined, each tone shifting unpredictably.
