Mental characteristics
Personal history
Ramiro was born in the Wobseh territories outside of Lodonesia. His mother’s name was Yuli, but not much is known about his parents. He confesses to Kalfr at one point that he had a family back home, referring to a wife and two children. However, they were informed he was excommunicated and killed during the Grey Death and he can no longer go back to his homeland due to his condition.
Sexuality
Bisexual
Education
He joined the Guild of Charity as a railway engineer and was ordained sometime in his early 20s. Previous to this he had taken on apprenticeship as a mining engineer in his hometown, but couldn’t stomach the devastating injury/death rates and his community’s lack of interest in improving safety practices.
Employment
Failures & Embarrassments
Ramiro was excommunicated from the Clockmakers in 736 after refusing to leave Ralhaz, in hopes they would eventually restart the train project if Lambseare was ever removed from power. He was, as are all defectors and defrocked Clockmakers, administered the Gweraz.
Mental Trauma
As the consequences of the Gweraz took hold, Ramiro witnessed most of his colleagues and peers die horribly only for their corpses to be ravaged during a harsh winter famine. Their remains were piled up in the Old Graves and created a mushroom garden.
Intellectual Characteristics
Ramiro is reserved and not particularly social, so he does not know how to read a room or tell the mood of others. This often leads to misunderstandings and makes him seem less intelligent than he actually is. He also has a deadpan way of explaining rather complicated concepts.
