Leviathan
Leviathans are colossal, semi-divine sea creatures that dwell in the deepest trenches and currents of Aigusyl’s oceans. Ancient beyond reckoning, they are neither fully beast nor God, but something in between — a primal force of the sea that predates even some of the younger deities. Many scholars believe sea serpants were shaped during the first tides of creation, their bodies fused from the raw chaos of the sea and the first echoes of divine will. They embody the chaotic and unknowable depths of the ocean. Though not gods in the traditional sense, their raw power commands reverence.

Common Myths and Legends
Legend holds that the Leviathans are children or fragments of Ssa'Thyr, Leviathan of the Coiled Abyss , the sea serpent goddess of The Writhing Deep pantheon. Others argue they are the result of primordial sea magic made manifest before gods and mortals split the world into land and law.
During The Fracture War, many Leviathans were roused from the deeps, some aiding sea gods, others razing coastlines in blind fury. Afterward, most vanished again beneath the waves.
