Devil

Devils are the infernal denizens of Hell, a realm of structured malevolence, bound by unbreakable contracts and hierarchies older than mortal time. Unlike their chaotic demonic counterparts from The Abyss, devils are creatures of order, law, and manipulation—twisting the rules of reality and morality to their advantage with calculated precision.

Forged in flame and oath, each Devil is a manifestation of sin given structure, vice made doctrine, and ambition clad in iron law. They are deceivers, tempters, generals, and bureaucrats of damnation, more likely to offer a quill than a claw—but woe to those who sign without reading the fine print.

Hell is organized into tiers, each ruled by a powerful Archdevil, and every devil exists to serve this infernal order. Promotions are earned through cunning betrayal, soul acquisition, and the execution of contracts across realms. Their ultimate currency is souls, especially those willingly given in exchange for power, love, vengeance, or knowledge.

Devils are bound by the terms of their deals, and they take immense pride in exploiting loopholes. To outsmart a devil is to win a rare victory; to trust one blindly is to sign away eternity. Mortal warlocks, tyrants, and desperate fools often turn to devils, forging infernal pacts that leave deep scars on the soul.

Their appearance varies by rank and function: some resemble twisted humanoids with crimson skin and barbed tails, others wear the visage of obsidian-armored judges or serpentine scholars. All radiate an aura of fear, authority, and unrelenting judgment.
