Beastfolk
The Beastfolk are a proud and diverse race of humanoid beings shaped by the wild hand of Tagyn, Goddess of Beasts . Born from her divine will to create a people who could thrive in all corners of nature, Beastfolk embody the traits of animals—fur, feathers, horns, claws, tails, or other bestial features—interwoven into humanoid form. Their bodies are as varied as the creatures they reflect: some stalk like panthers, others soar with avian grace, while some possess the endurance of elk or the cunning of foxes.
Each Beastfolk tribe is often linked to a specific animal totem, passed down through generations and honored through rites, tattoos, and ancestral memory. Their physical traits and temperaments tend to reflect the instincts and personalities of their totemic animals. These totems are more than symbolism—they are divine echoes of the Animal Lords, powerful entities appointed by Tagyn to guide and protect the natural world.
Beastfolk societies are deeply connected to the land. They build with what nature offers, hunt only what they need, and revere the balance between predator and prey. Their cultures are oral, rich with song, ritual, and dance—each performance a retelling of the stories gifted to them by Tagyn and the spirits of the wild.
Adaptability is their greatest strength. They are hunters, herbalists, spirit-speakers, scouts, and warriors—respected and sometimes feared by outsiders for their keen senses, primal wisdom, and unbreakable bond with nature.
Among all her creations, Tagyn holds the Beastfolk closest to her heart. They are her answer to an untamed world: creatures born of claw and grace, destined not to dominate nature, but to walk in rhythm with it.
