Murid Institute of Thanogenesis

The Murid Institute has been at the center of the past century's great innovations in the necrotic arts. Located in the Kingdom of Hazar which itself has a long relationship with necromancy, it is the place where techniques such as soul-binding and osseogenesis originated and to this day are being perfected. It can count among its alumni a majority of Hazar's influential Qadi, specially appointed advisors who serve the king.
The Institute typically accepts researchers who have already had an education in the arcane as well as prior research experience, accepting graduates from schools such as Bruxaria University.
Public Agenda
The Mahid Institute seeks to place itself at the cutting edge of research in necromancy and its various subfields. It also hopes to enable and support researchers whose projects they believe have much potential. Their current projects range from medical studies attempting to cure bone cancers, to creating undead constructs with greater levels of intelligence and problem solving skills without trapping the soul of the deceased in the construct.
