Lash of the Hordes

Champions: Overseers Daklatha was noted as one of the cruellest of the Dark Lords, none of whom ever projected a warm and fluffy image. His material form was small, in relative terms, but his capacity for punitive violence, grudge-bearing and seemingly erratic punishments made him feared. Once the Legions began to seize other territories, he was given authority over the fighting strength of the newly-formed auxiliary Horde and his Legion became its command force. In The Uprising, Daklatha faced the most overwhelming force of any Dark Lord. It is said that ninety-five Orcs died fighting him with the flail dubbed Shattered Bond in their hands, before a hobgoblin of the Horde was able to bind him with it, allowing another to strike him down with Tatters and Ashes. In an act of spite, the unquenched flail was buried with his carcass. In the time since the Uprising, the Lash is believed to have been destroyed in The Abyss by Hidden Spear, a minor Elven deity who was adopted by the Hobgoblins of the Domain of War after their liberation.
