Physical Description
Special abilities
Atlas is an immensely powerful Amp. In his youth, he was a renowned warrior who had killed many Lords. After being defeated by Typhon and subsequently employed as a Sentinel operative, his skills haven't waned and only grew in the following years, being one of the most skilled heroes alive today.
Powers
- Superhuman Strength: While all Amps possess a degree of superhuman strength which can be enhanced with training and experience, Atlas was born with strength beyond any other Amp which serves as his primary power. He's strong enough to rip apart other Amps with his bare hands or tear through bodies with simple punches.
- Superhuman Durability: Along with his strength, Atlas possesses extraordinary resilience. Blades are unable to pierce his skin and can even break upon impact. He can endure brutal attacks from other Amps without much injury. His durability has its limits, however, but only Remnants or Amps of a similar caliber are capable of hurting him.
- Superhuman Speed: Atlas's strength extends to his legs, allowing him to move at immense speeds.
- Superhuman Stamina: Atlas can fight at peak condition for hours without fatigue.
Abilities
- Master Combatant/Marital Artist: Atlas's strength his matched by his mastery in combat due to centuries of experience. His self-created style utilizes his immense strength while combining explosive movements to overwhelm opponents.
Relationships
History
Typhon challenged Atlas hundreds of years ago and severely beat him to near death. Impressed by his strength, Typhon spared his life and had him conscripted to his service in his conquests. The trauma Atlas suffered prevents him from standing up to Typhon, who uses threats and occasional violence to keep him in line. Despite this, Typhon appears to harbor some warped fondness for Atlas, and grants him privileges few in his circle are allowed.
